Provincial Police arrested and charged three people from the area after executing a search warrant in Georgian Bluffs recently.
The Grey Bruce OPP Community Street Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Huron Perth Community Street Crimes Unit and OPP West Region Emergency Response Team, carried out the warrant at a property in Georgian Bluffs on Nov. 25.
Police have not disclosed further specifics about where the residence they raided is located in the township.
According to the OPP, a search of the property resulted in the seizure of narcotics suspected to be methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine.
Officers also confiscated “numerous other offence related assets.”
As a result, three people were arrested and charged. A 28-year-old Georgian Bluffs woman faces drug possession and unauthorized possession of a weapon charges. A 61-year-old man from Georgian Bluffs and a 38-year-old woman from Brockton were charged with simple drug possession as well.
Police say the accused are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
