Grey Bruce Health Services has announced it will implement a policy as of next week requiring visitors to its facilities to be fully vaccinated against Covid, with some exceptions.
The hospital organization issued a news release saying the policy does not apply to patients, but anyone visiting or accompanying one to a hospital will be required to show vaccination proof to enter any Grey Bruce Health Services’ site as of Nov. 15.
In addition to approved medical exemptions, Grey Bruce Health Services says an exception can be granted to visitors if the patient is a child, at end of life, in labour or has accessibility needs.
Grey Bruce Health Services has six hospitals in the region: Owen Sound, Southampton, Wiarton, Lion’s Head, Markdale and Meaford.
