The last of three classic car cruises is hitting the road this weekend in Grey Bruce.
A release notes the Grey Bruce Sunset Cruisers will hosting the annual Fall Colours Classic Car Tour on Sept. 26 and participants will carve their own way through the region.
One of the Organizers of the event Dave Middleton says participants are allowed to start wherever they want and enjoy the fall colours.
“This cruise is one of our more popular cruises to say the very least, as the colours start to change in particular Keppel Township and that area. So we are looking forward to having a great turnout for this one final cruise of the year,” says Middleton.
The event is in support of Crime Stoppers Grey Bruce, who will be providing maps, as they encountered funding shortages due to the Covid pandemic.
Drivers are encouraged to travel by themselves or in a group, while making stops along the way.
The day will end at the Wiarton Keppel Airport, with the Municipality of Georgian Bluffs welcoming participants to display their cars at the airport following the tour.
Vehicle marshaling locations will be set up at The Plex in Port Elgin, Sauble Beach Community Centre, the Wiarton Keppel International Airport, and the Owen Sound Grey Roots Museum.
Middleton notes when drivers show up at these locations, they will be met by members of Crime Stoppers and they will be given the chance to donate to the organization.
Middleton says anyone is welcome to take part in the cruise as it is not limited to classic makes or models.
