The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported two new Covid cases and three resolved ones on Wednesday.
The region’s active known case load fell to 27. Hospitalizations are unchanged: three Grey Bruce residents are admitted for care locally and one other is being treated outside the region.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit does not provide specific data in its daily Covid disclosure about whether new cases and hospitalizations are among unvaccinated people, which the provincial government started doing recently.
More than 223,700 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Twenty-two Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Wednesday are reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
