Saugeen Shores Police responded to a pair of collisions in Port Elgin on Sunday afternoon.
Police say officers were called to Green Street between Highland Street and Harbour Street at about 3:50 p.m. to investigate two accidents.
Town Police say the collisions happened in close proximity to one another.
Saugeen Shores Police have provided minimal additional details, but say one of the incidents resulted in serious injuries to a driver who had to be airlifted to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.
According to police, the driver’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Saugeen Shores Police say the collisions remain under investigation and are asking any witnesses to contact them.
