Premier Doug Ford is set to make an announcement Thursday afternoon about Ontario’s re-opening plan.
An Ontario government release says Ford will speak alongside Minister of Health Christine Elliott and the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams.
No firm details about what the plan may entail, but Solicitor General Sylvia Jones suggested on Wednesday the province will move away from a regional approach.
Earlier this week it was confirmed the Ontario government will not return to the colour-coded framework it has used in past re-openings.
Premier Ford’s announcement is scheduled for 3 p.m. this afternoon.
