The Town of The Blue Mountains is asking all residents to participate in testing their home internet speed throughout the month of May.
It says the goal is to add 2,500 more test results to the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) database on internet speeds in the Town of The Blue Mountains.
“I ask all residents to conduct a speed test of their internet service and submit results through the Town speed test website,” stated Chair of the RABIT Task Force, Deputy Mayor Rob Potter. “Data collected will be used to support applications for funding for internet projects in the Town and will help bring high-speed internet to all parts of our community.”
