Orangeville Police say there were no firearms involved in an altercation on a street in town.
Thursday August 27 just after midnight officers responded to a disturbance on Amanda Street.
Two people were seen leaving the scene in a vehicle and no firearms were located.
Evidence collected lead police to believe there was no discharge of any firearms.
Police say they believe a fight broke out between several individuals and one suffered a small gash on his forehead.
An investigation into a possible assault continues and anyone with information is urged to call Orangeville Police or Crime Stoppers.
