Residents in Grey and Bruce counties can drop off their old paint cans, propane tanks or other household hazardous waste today.
In Grey County, the Public Works Facility on 20th Street East is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The service is open to residents of Owen Sound, Chatsworth, Georgian Bluffs, Grey Highlands, Meaford and West Grey.
In Bruce County, there are two different drop-off locations open for limited hours today. The Amabel Works Yard on Municipal Road in Sauble Beach will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Then from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. the Eastnor Landfill Site in Lion’s Head will accept household hazardous waste.
Waste from commercial, industrial or farm operations are not accepted.
