Fraud and theft charges have been dropped against one of the men behind the failed vision for Wasaga’s main end and the bankruptcy that followed.
Dov Levy had been accused in connection with a million dollar cheque that had been issued after the fire in the pedestrian mall in November of 2007.
The charges were withdrawn early in September, at the request of the Crown.
The prosecutor in the case told the court there was no reasonable chance of conviction, which is why the case was dropped.
