The renovation is complete and McDonald’s just outside Owen Sound on the Sunset Strip is ready to celebrate.
The restaurant has been open since June 18th — but now that it’s completed and the staff are comfortable, they’re having their grand opening this weekend.
Owner Steve Sgro says Ronald McDonald, Grimace and Hamburglar will be handing out gifts to kids on Friday.
There will also be cake and a cheque presentation to Ronald McDonald House in London.
Sgro says the opening is for the kids to explore the brand new play-place and there will even be face painting.
Sgro says the new building can seat 130 people — and even more when they get their outdoor patio set up.
Sgro notes the new building also has five new televisions and the Wi Fi will be set up soon.
Sgro adds anyone is welcome to come out to the new McDonalds this weekend to celebrate the grand opening.
The official ribbon cutting will take place at 6:30 PM on Friday.
