Sport Orillia has postponed the annual Orillia Sports Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction which was slated for April 18th at Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club.

A new date will be announced at a later time.

The decision was made due to concerns about having such a large gathering during the COVID-19 outbreak.

This year’s class of inductees include Dave Town, Bill Watters and Wayne Dowswell.

The annual Breakfast of Champions, which honours the top student athletes from each local secondary school, is traditionally held the same week at the Sports Hall of Fame Dinner. That event has also been postponed.
