Hi, this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire ".
You can't be everywhere....but you've got to be somewhere.
And as it pertains to the sporting landscape this weekend, there's a lot of ' somewheres " to choose from.
In Meaford, the 54th annual Tom Simms Memorial Tournament begins just after 7 pm this evening at Croft Athletic Field and runs through Sunday afternoon with all 8 teams competing in action tonight.
In Owen Sound, tomorrow morning at 9 am, the OASA Under 19 " A " & " B " Provincial Tournaments commence at Duncan McLellan Park. It's a 2 day event.
If you're an angler, the 2018 Chantry Chinook Classic opens tomorrow morning and runs through August 12th primarily along the Lake Huron Shoreline.
Tomorrow night at Hanover Raceway, the Dream of Glory Eliminations will be staged plus the annual Survivor series with 104 entries will conclude.
There's auto racing Saturday at both Full Throttle and Sauble Speedways
And in Senior Lacrosse, there is a playoff game tonight at Six Nations for the Owen Sound NorthStars.
Will there be a Senior Lacrosse playoff game tomorrow night in Owen Sound ?
That depends on the result tonight.
And Sunday afternoon at 5 pm, Grey Motors United will host Guelph at the Kiwanis Soccer Complex.
Chesley, Meaford, Duncan McLellan Park, Lake Huron, Hanover, Varney, Sauble Beach, the Kiwanis Complex, Six Nations ...and maybe, just maybe tomorrow night at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore.
Have a great weekend.
I'm Fred Wallace
