Hi, this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire ".
I know I've been touting our annual station trip to Nashville & Memphis with great zeal & with good reason.
The Tennessee Music Legends tour in October will include stops at the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Loretta Lynn Museum, the Johnny Cash Museum plus a tour, including sampling, of the Jack Daniels Distillery. You can't beat THAT.
However, long before the Fall excursion, the good people who operate Puppy White Tours have confirmed the annual Las Vegas trip, known this year as Vegas IV.
You can appreciate that IV stands for the roman numeral for 4, as in 4th straight year, but IV may also represent a physical state or condition that may be encountered.
After years of exploration, I've got into a very comfortable routine of Las Vegas in April.
Get Up. Get Exercise. Get to the Flamingo Pool. Make your sports bets on NHL Playoff Hockey & Major League Baseball. Watch those games at Cesar's Palace. Then throw some dice....
Next day...same routine.
This year, there's an added attraction.
The Las Vegas 51's, the AAA affiliate of the New York Mets, will be at home for 3 dates against the El Paso Chihuahuas.
You CAN'T beat our Nashville trip but Puppy White Tours Vegas IV will certainly have its moments.
I'm Fred Wallace
