Three Game Slate In OHL Tonight

Length:

Hi, this is Fred Wallace with " Off the Wire. "

A rare Tuesday night in the Ontario Hockey League features all 5 teams in the Midwest Division in action.

In Erie tonight, the Otters host the London Knights.

Erie is on a 3 game win streak and will all but clinch 1st place in the Western Conference with a win tonight.

The Owen Sound Attack are at home to the Flint Firebirds at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore Community Centre.

Owen Sound can tie a franchise record with a win tonight which would give them 46 on the year equalling the mark established in 2011.

A win would also keep the Attack's faint hopes of finishing first in the Conference alive.

Yet as sweet as franchise records and maintaining hope for first may be, the win is needed to keep possession of 3rd place in the Western Conference as the Attack lead the Knights by just 1 point.

For Flint, tonight's game is also of note as they sit just 2 points back of Kitchener for 6th in the Western Conference.

The Rangers, they'll be somewhat interested in the proceedings in Owen Sound but more focused on their own game at Guelph against the Storm.

Rangers at Storm
Knights at Otters
And at 7 pm in Owen Sound, the Attack host Flint.

That's a pretty good lineup for a rare Tuesday in the Ontario Hockey League.

I'm Fred Wallace
