This is shaping up to be an awful weekend from every regard for the Owen Sound Attack & their OHL opponents.
First for the Attack, it has been well documented that the game tonight at Kitchener & the final home game tomorrow against Guelph are both meaningless to Owen Sound.
They're out, and essentially the review of what was, and the preparations for what has to be a better tomorrow, are underway.
For Kitchener, the game tonight also carries little meaning.
The Rangers went from # 9 in the West last year, to a solid Top 3 finish this year.
They can't catch London, nor can they be caught by anybody behind them.
So what do you do, how do you approach the game tonight, if you're either the Attack or the Rangers ?
Tomorrow's game against Guelph is a little different.
Meaningless for the Attack again, but for Guelph, who are currently 8th sitting just 1 point back of Erie & Saginaw, they want to avoid a first round playoff date with Windsor, so the game is exceptionally important for the Storm.
So again, how do you approach the game if you're the Attack, or if you're the Storm ?
The strategy and game plan for the weekend games might be the most interesting aspect of what's in front of us for what will be the last weekend of the Attack season.
