Tough Choice For Hockey Tonight

By Fred Wallace

I've got a viewing dilemma tonight.

What do you watch ?

Game 4 of the Robertson Cup for the Ontario Hockey League Championship or Game 3 of the Pittsburgh-Washington series ?

Difficult choice.

In the OHL Final, the Brampton Battalion will try and square their series with Windsor after winning game 3 on Monday night in Windsor.

The performance of the Spitfires on Monday was perplexing in that they had a chance to grab a virtually insurmountable lead in the series and failed to display any killer instinct until the Battalion had roared out to a 4-0 lead.

The game within the game centers around Matt Duchene of Brampton who showed on Monday night he deserves consideration to be the # 1 draft pick in the NHL Entry Draft in June.

And speaking of superstars, Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby had a scoring battle for the ages in game 2, with Ovechkin and the Caps winning 4-3 to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

When the greatest performers in the game have an effort like that in game 2, it's often difficult to duplicate, but if these players and teams manage to elevate the skill and intensity levels further, it will be a great night for hockey.
