Tell us about yourself: I think I always knew I was meant to be a broadcast journalist. I took the course at Fanshawe College in London right out of high school and loved it. I worked in the industry for a couple of years before life intervened and I got out of the business. But doing office work just didn’t cut it for me. I longed to be on the air and covering events and being out in the community. So I went back to school and did a one year post-grad. My path led me to Wasaga Beach where I’ve been with 97.7 The Beach for four and a half years. I have fallen in love with this area and am proud to bring our listeners news of area events. My passion is the features I produce for our talk show, Georgian Bay 2 Day, which runs weekday mornings after the 9 o’clock news.
