Three games in four days against Eastern Conference opponents
The Owen Sound Attack will look to build on their 4-2 victory over the London Knights on Wednesday when they play a slate of weekend games against teams from the Eastern Conference.
Kicking things off for the Bears is a trip to St. Catharines to square off with the Niagara IceDogs for the 2nd matchup on the season between the two teams.
Currently sitting 2nd in the Central Division, the IceDogs boast a record of 26-19-5-3, putting them at 60 points on the year.
In the only other meeting between Owen Sound and Niagara on the season, the Attack - who now have 59 points thanks to a 26-20-2-5 record - defeated the IceDogs in a shootout thriller by a score of 3-2 on Nov. 22.
Attack forward Aidan Dudas scored both of Owen Sound's regulation time goals in that game, while also providing the shootout game winner.
In 53 games on the year, the Parry Sound native now has 57 points thanks to 27 goals and 30 assists, trailing only Nick Suzuki for the team scoring lead.
Suzuki, who scored twice in the Attack's Wednesday night victory, is tied for 5th in the OHL points race with 29 goals and 43 assists for 72 points on the season.
Leading the charge for Niagara is overage forward Sam Miletic with 76 points through 50 games on the year.
Puck drop at the Meridian Centre is slated for 7 pm and can be heard on Kia of Owen Sound/Terry's Trailer Service Bear Radio on 560 CFOS.
Following the game, the Attack will return to the Bayshore for a rematch against the Ottawa 67's on Saturday night.
After falling to the 67's on Sunday, Feb. 11 in what was the tail end of Owen Sound's Eastern Ontario road trip, the Attack will be looking for revenge against an Ottawa squad that has a record of 26-21-5-3, and is just four points back of home ice in the Eastern Conference.
Tickets for the 7:30pm start are limited to single seats and standing room and can be purchased at the MacVicar & McComb ReMax Attack Box Office.
Owen Sound will enjoy a day off on Sunday before travelling to Hamilton for a 2:00pm matinee on Family Day for their final matchup on the year with the Bulldogs.
Also available live on 560 CFOS, Monday's game will see the Attack look to sweep the season series against the East's 1st place squad.
The only previous meeting between Owen Sound and the Bulldogs in 2017-18 was a thrilling 2-1 victory for the Attack at the Bayshore on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
