Bruce Power Named Top Employer

Tiverton | by Kevin Bernard

It's the 7th year in a row the company has made the list.

For the 7th year in a row, Bruce Power has been named one of Canada's Top Employers for Young people.

Cathy Sprague, Bruce Power's Executive Vice President, Human Resources, said being recognized for the seventh consecutive year shows the company - and the nuclear industry - provides an attractive career for young people.

Sprague says Bruce Power has invested a lot of time and resources into developing young people into becoming the future leaders of the company.

The award recognized the Nuclear Power company for its focus on young employees through the on-site North American Young Generation Nuclear (NA-YGN) organization, and its development student and internship programs.

Krista Gill, co-chair of the Bruce Chapter of North American Young Generation Nuclear says Bruce Power is a leader in providing stable, long-term jobs to young people, while also providing an excellent work-life balance.
