Lisa Thompson Nominated For Re-Election

Huron-Bruce | by Peter Jackson

Thompson will represent the Progressive Conservatives for Huron-Bruce in 2018 election.

There is already a candidate in Huron-Bruce for the 2018 provincial election, with the nomination of Progressive Conservative incumbent Lisa Thompson.

Thompson was nominated this week on a platform that will see her continue to focus on the issues of cap-and-trade, high energy costs and opportunities in agriculture.

She says the high cost of Hydro and the new carbon tax are helping to drive jobs away from Ontario.

Thompson has been MPP for Huron-Bruce since 2011, when she defeated former Liberal agriculture minister Carol Mitchell.
