STFC Athletes Prep for NationalsGrey Bruceby Bayshore News Staff
The Royal Canadian Legion National Youth Championships will be taking place August 6-8, 2010 in Ottawa, Ontario. Saugeen Track and Field Club athletes Kevin Bowman, Jordaine Leeder, Cheyenne Hunter, and Mat West have all qualified to compete at these championships. Kevin Bowman of Port Elgin will be competing in the Boy's Under 18 Shot Put, Discus, and Hammer Throw. In the Girls Under 18 division, Port Elgin's Jordaine Leeder will be sprinting in the 100m and Tiverton's Cheyenne Hunter will be running in both the 800m and 1500m.
