The new Owen Sound to Guelph bus is picking up donations of masks, gloves and other equipment along its route for medical staff and first responders.

Kasper Transportation Manager Greg Macivor is asking businesses and residents to donate any spare protective supplies they have.

Macivor is asking people to drop them off at his bus stop locations in clear bags and says he'll get them to the first responders and hospital staff in Grey Bruce or in Guelph who need them.

Macivor says he will pick them up and deliver them to whichever hospital you designate.

The Owen Sound-Guelph bus operates twice a day.

Macivor says beauty salons, hairdressers, tattooists, dental offices, autobody shops and any other businesses that use these supplies to donate.
