Both the Attack & Storm have 58 points heading to their head-to-head meeting Friday at the Sleeman centre in Guelph.

Pearson, playing on a line with Barret Kirwin & Sergey Popov, has produced 7 goals & 10 points in his last 3 outings.

Popov also scored and had a 3 point game for Owen Sound while Carter Robertson & underage Kaleb Lawrence added single markers.

Mack Guzda got the win in goal for Owen Sound making 25 saves

Guzda, who has 21 wins on the season, lost his shutout bid with 5 minutes to play when Lawson Sherk redirected a pass to the front of the goal for the only Hamilton marker.

Marco Costantini started for Hamilton and was pulled after Robertson and Lawrence scored back to back goals in the 2nd period to make it 4-0.

Zachary played the final 32 minutes and yielded only a breakaway goal to Pearson

The loss for Hamilton, combined with Barrie's victory at Erie, leaves the Bulldogs 7th in the Eastern Conference with 49 points
