The Owen Sound Attack have signed recently acquired right-winger Kaleb Pearson.
Pearson was brought over in a trade with the Flint Firebirds earlier this week for a conditional draft pick.
The 18-year-old had 39 goals and 18 assists in 49 games with the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League's Stratford Warriors last season.
“We are excited to welcome Kaleb and his family to the Attack organization,” says GM Dale DeGray in a release. “Kaleb brings a special offensive presence to his game and will be a welcome addition to our lineup. This will be a tremendous step forward in Kaleb’s development and help provide the opportunity to move forward in his hockey career.”
The Attack continue training camp today with a team red vs. team white scrimmage set for 6 p.m. at the Bayshore Community Centre tonight.
On Sunday, the preseason opens for the Attack with a home game against the Sudbury Wolves.
